Important Notes:

  • "P" indicates prerequisite.
  • "C" or better is required in the major and minor.
  • Classes taken and/or repeated out of sequence will not be counted toward graduation. Check prerequisites!
  • Request for senior evaluation form must be submitted after completion of 32 semester hours.
  • The last 20 semester hours for the A.A.S. degree must be taken at YSU, including the last 16 hours in the major.
  • Courses in major cannot satisfy GER domains.
  • Domains may be taken in any order and must satisfy 2 of the following categories: NS, AL, SI, PS, ST, or Comst 1545.
  • Placement exams are required in English and Math before registration of classes.
Specialization Area – Minimum of 8 semester hours
The specialization area courses may be taken within the department or in another department. Suggested areas include:
